Brush- A small Brush To wisk away the soil from petioles, leaves and pots.

Knifes- A sharp razor blade to cut leaves off of the violet to be be used for propagation. I also use the knife to scrape scar tissue from the neck of the violet.

Marker- A Marker is used for writing the name of the plant on the pot or name stake( this is very important to put the name on the pot or name stake).

Tweezers- I have a long tweezers so I can reach into the foliage to remove suckers and spent blossoms.

Alcohol Wipes- I have alcohol wipes or a bottle of rubbing alcohol to clean the knife and tweezers every time I cut a new leave to be used for propagation I clean my knife or tweezers.

Wick Cord - I us for watering my violets. You may use 2-ply yarn, 4-ply Acrylic Baby Yarn or Pantyhose works successfully · whatever wick is used, it must be acrylic or nylon or synthetic to prevent rotting.
